The Embassy of Japan in Bern is looking for an attentive Housekeeper who works at the Ambassador’s residence in cooperation with other residence team. A team player, trustworthy, proactive with a can-do attitude, and a warm personality, the housekeeper will be responsible for ensuring the residence is always kept to a high standard of cleanliness, doing the laundry and ironing, arranging the wardrobe and gardening. The duties also include assisting the Chef with cooking and other preparation for official functions and helping at receptions with serving and cloakroom duties as an all-rounder in hospitality industry.
Qualifications and competencies required:
- Good command of English and German(Spoken/Written)
- Ability to use MS-Office
- More than 5 years of experience working as housekeeper or at the Hospitality Industry
- Be available, flexible and with good attention to details
- Less than 50 Minutes to the work place is desirable
Work Schedule:
- 7 hours a day from Monday to Friday,Saturday( Shift) with Possibility of working outside of working hours/Holidays
