Iconic Towers Hotel Raffles & Fairmont

A new landmark for one of the Middle East’s most exciting cities

 

6th December, 2021 – Raffles Doha and Fairmont Doha, two of 2022’s most high-profile new hotel openings, occupy a stunning contemporary building that is a new national landmark for Qatar.  The iconic towers in Lusail are an architectural translation of Qatar’s national seal, representing the traditional scimitar swords. Rising gracefully from the podium level, the arched towers incorporate numerous unique design elements including an awe-inspiring 30 meter high kaleidoscopic atrium, a collection of specially commissioned works of art, hidden gardens and features inspired by the local Qatari culture and landscapes. The lavish six-star Raffles Doha and luxurious five-star Fairmont Doha are each distinct and distinguishing in their own way, with a shared vision to deliver the ultimate level of guest experiences. 

The towers are located in Lusail City, an exciting new and innovative area of Doha, that has been designed around environmental sustainability, smart infrastructure and contemporary urbanism. Throughout the building an array of start-of-the-art smart technologies have been deployed to both enhance the guest experience and to promote a robust sustainability program. It is the first hospitality project in Qatar to receive a global sustainability assessment system design & build five-star rating certificate.
